Traveling to Cyprus for the final dual meet of the season, the Spartans carried the night with boys and girls combining for a score of 201 Murray vs. 136 Cyprus.
Murray won four of six relays with the boys posting a season-best in the medley by nearly a full second:
Boys 200 medley – Lincoln Yospe, Gavin Holmberg, Holden Cheney, Tyler Jacobsen
Girls 200 free – Kalie Lam, Stephanie Poprzenovic, Tylee Peak, Uso Tagoa’i
Boys 200 free – Tyler Jacobsen, Lincoln Yospe, Ethan Leonard, Holden Cheney
Girls 400 free – Ally Uvario, Sara Gratton, Stephanie Poprzenovic, Sarah Walton
Lincoln Yospe (Sr.) scored a team-high 16 points. He took first in the 50 free and 100 free for a second straight meet, and swam for the winning relay teams.
Point leaders for the boys squad claimed three additional wins:
Holden Cheney (14) – 500 free
Micah Black (12.5) – 100 fly, 100 back
Team points were also scored by Gavin Holmberg (10), Joey Horne (9.5), Ethan Leonard (7), Tyler Jacobsen (6), and Matt Meyers (5.5) in addition to Matthew Uvario, Devin Jessop, Will Taylor, Case Elliott, Brandon George, Liam Morris, Michael Correa, Skylar Galt, and Robert Jorgensen.
Ally Uvario (Sr.) led out for the girls team with 14.5 points. She won both the 200 IM and 500 free, slashing her personal records by 4.8 and 2.1 seconds respectively.
Three more point leaders for the girls notched a win in an individual event:
Uso Tagoa’i (13) – 100 breast
Kalie Lam (12) – 100 back
Lauren Bernstein (6.5) – 200 free
Team points were also scored by Stephanie Poprzenovic (9), Sara Gratton (7.5), Izzy Wright (6.5), Brooke Horton (5.5), Sierra Peterson (5.5), and Tylee Peak (5) in addition to Rachel Wilcox, Maryn Stone, Sarah Walton, Emma Brimley, Sarah Taylor, Riley Thompson, and Janissa Montilla.
