Syracuse scored four runs in the third. Their big bats were led by Anderson, Cousin, and Poll, all driving in runs in the frame.
Baer started the game for Murray. She lasted three innings, allowing five hits and eight runs while striking out three. Gillespie threw one inning in relief.
