Pack the Pool on Senior Night

Boys Swim Team Edges Kearns

The Spartan boys are 3-0 in dual meets.  Facing 6A challenger, Kearns, every Murray swimmer was vital.  At the end of an intense night, only two points divided the squads: Murray 86 vs Kearns 84. Hosting West Jordan from 6A, the Murray swim team continues to build momentum early in the season. The boys and girls finished with a combined score of Murray 321 vs. West Jordan 46. Spartans Over East in First Region Meet

Spartan Swim is primed for the ’18-’19 season!  Traveling to the Greg Fernley Invitational in St. George, Murray competed over two days with 20 schools from across the state.  The boys team is off to an impressive start, bringing home the third place trophy.  The Spartan boys and girls combined for sixth place overall. Boys/Girls Water Polo Teams takes 1st and 2nd at State Tournament

Congrats to Water Polo Team!!!  Both boys and girls played in the state championships over the weekend and played exemplary!  The boys defeated Olympus in the championship game 8-4 to capture their second straight 1st place trophy.  After taking last place in 2017, the girls returned to the championships for the first time since 2013. 

Spartan Swim Ends Remarkable Season

In front of a standing-room only crowd, the Spartans competed with the elite swim teams of 5A at the State Championship Meet. As an indication of the staggering competition, spectators were treated to swimmers qualifying for All-America consideration and even a backstroker under the Junior Nationals standard.
